Summer Flu

So I'm at home, sick with the flu. It seems to be a particularly bad bout of it since it's been over two years since I last had one. Feverish, dizzy, nauseous, achy, all the classic symptoms, I have 'em. I'm pretty sure I contracted this flu whilst on my travels in Europe. I was in several crowded planes, airports, and tourist sites, any of which could be the culprit. Come to think of it, I did stay in a hostel in London, above a Pub. It appeared fairly clean but I wonder if they wash their sheets. I won't go into too much detail, since Dave is planning a post on all of the particulars. I will, however, recommend to NEVER fly stand-by. It was an absolutely miserable experience trying for 8+ flights in one day. So, I believe the stress of trying to get on multiple flights plus the volumes of people everywhere plus my lack of quality sleep added up to this flu (we ended up flying to Sacramento, renting a car there, then driving overnight to SLC, just in time to go to work Monday morning). I hate summer flu.

  1. I believe the real problem must have been nebulizing Europeans. Also, I can tell how bored you are because not only did you finally do another post on this blog, you also tried chatting with Devin today. Bless you and your sickly boredom.
